Got bruises after squeezing nose

2025-12-20 11:08:01
I got some dark bruises on my nose after squeezing to remove blackheads. At first, my nose turned red. After a day or two, I got some blackish bruises. Today It is the 4th day... The bruises have become darker.I am giving an ice pack... What else can I do to heal it quickly? Will it heal? Can you please say?I'm literally worried and regretting.

Such bruises usually heal on their own with time. Avoid touching, squeezing, or applying harsh products on the area. If discoloration persists or you want faster and safer healing, a proper assessment is required. Please consult me directly so I can guide you appropriately.

Hai, This condition is called NASAL CONTUSION. It is due to breaking of small blood vessels under skin and leakage of blood to tissues. Generally the discoloration will disappear gradually. Continue applying ice pack. Never touch or squeeze the area hard again. Dont use allopathic medications like aspirin, painkillers (NSAIDS), antibiotics etc as it can thin blood. Drink plenty of water esp orange juice and lemon juice ( vit c rich ), will facilitates tissue healing.
