Hello, gingivitis is an inflammation of gums. it could be because of food lodged between your teeth.visit a dentist and get it checked. get your scaling and polishing done.brush twice daily, floss regularly and rinse after every meal.

Gingivitis ,is inflammation of the gingiva, this makes it red in colour, and bleeds easily on touch or while brushing.main cause is plaque accumulation at the junction of the gingiva and the tooth.See your dentist, let him evaluate your condition,a scaling can be done to improve your condition.

It's just inflammation of the gums and you need to seek an opinion from a dentist. Scaling/Cleaning would help.
