Dear Sir, i have GERD problem after i treated from lakeshore Hospital Kochi Kerala India, they found in endoscopy Lax in GE junction 5 mm, now i cant eat food it coming back without digestion after 3 month took medicine they suggested laparoscopically surgery for strengthen the lower esophageal sphincter, sir i need opinion about surgery if i do surgery can i solve my problem, and is it common surgery or complicated please let me know , then i can do surgery from your hospital i hope i can get reply of my problem Regards, Sirajudeen

You hav severe volume reflux... And you require surgery called laparoscopic fundoplication surgery... To tighten the lower esophageal sphincter.. It's a commonly done surgery with no complications and very good results.. Very small incisions on abdomen required..up and about next day... Recovery in week time... And back to work
