Geographical tongue in pregnancy
I am 27 weeks pregnant. I have had marks in my tongue since 10 weeks.. it doesn't hurt or anything.. but it keeps on changing its shape and size.. when I looked online I got to know that it is called geographical tongue. Sometimes it is less visible and then sometimes there are huge marks..
Why does this happen? How to cure it?

Geographic Tongue (Benign Migratory Glossitis). It is a harmless inflammatory condition of the tongue where red, map-like patches with slightly raised borders appear.
The exact cause is not known. It is considered a benign variant of the tongue’s surface pattern. Possible associations: hormonal changes (common in pregnancy), nutritional deficiencies (iron, vitamin B12, folic acid), allergies, stress, and genetic predisposition.
It is not infectious, not precancerous, and usually does not cause long-term problems.
