Can crp test rule out ibd? I am getting epigastric pain sometimes, i think gastritis but my doctor had ordered a crp, it came to be 1.02 (0-8 range). Is it normal? Please guide me and he has advised me for endoscopy, but i am scared that it will find something bad :(. With this anxiety i am not able to sleep :(

Crp is non specific test for Ibd..

CRP may or may not be raised in IBD. It is not related to IBD.

CRP is an inflammatory marker ..it can raised in many other conditions too ...for IBD confirmation endoscopy is required..which is very safe procedure ..no need to panic

Crp cannot rule out ibd.
You can always take a second opinion before doing a procedure.
