Can crp test rule out ibd? I am getting epigastric pain sometimes, i think gastritis but my doctor had ordered a crp, it came to be 1.02 (0-8 range). Is it normal? Please guide me and he has advised me for endoscopy, but i am scared that it will find something bad :(. With this anxiety i am not able to sleep :(

CRP is an inflammatory marker ..it can raised in many other conditions too ...for IBD confirmation endoscopy is required..which is very safe procedure ..no need to panic
