Hi There are many better medicines than desvenlafaxine if you are a case of GAD, if it is GAD, you will experience symptoms for a shorter duration may be some minutes, definitely not all day & it's always occasional & never continuous, may be the frequency varies. The treatment is also for shorter period & not for a longer period may be for 2 or 3 months, you can take break for few months & if again symptoms reappear you can restart the treatment, this way you can deal.
