The only curative treatment of symptomatic gall bladder stones is surgical removal of gallbladder and the gold standard these days is Laparoscopic approach. Procedure is fairly simple and surgery is done under complete anaesthesia. The patient can be discharged on the evening of the surgery or the next day in a fully independent state with patient taking orally. Can join back work after 3-5days. No long term side effects.
