I have severe sleep apnea and need to go for my gallbladder removal surgery under GA.. My doctor says it is very risky.. but why since I'll be already incubated? I don't understand.. Anyways,

Better to treat sleep apnoea first. Requirs more care thana normal cade...Anyways ..with proper preoperative sleep study testing and good post operative care ..it is possible to do this surgery.
If you have severe sleep apnoea, I am guessing you are overweight too.
Irrespective, you can definitely get the surgery done at a Center with good anesthesiologist, and an experienced surgeon.
