My wife has multiple calculi in gb one is 7mm.is it necessary to operate? Her hb is 5-6? Will operation be possible with this hemoglobin?

Welcome and Good Evening Your concern 1. Multiple Gall stones. One 7mm size 2. Is it necessary to operate? Gall bladder stone surgery is performed as per the indications. Let the Surgeon evaluate and decide. 3. Her Haemoglobin is 5-6. Will operation be     possible with this Hb Haemoglobin level has to be increased with medical management upto required level, then only Surgery will be done.

She will require iron supplements/intravenous iron  to being up her Hb before any surgery can be done. She will require surgery at some point since there are multiple calculi. Hope this helps.
