Gall bladder stones

My mother is 53 years female. Her uterus has been removed before 10 years. Recent general health check up revealed she has cholesterol and gall bladder stones. Our Gastroenterologist suggested for a laparoscopy, since he mentioned if this is left unattended it may lead to jaundice. So wanted to know if laparoscopy is the right way to proceed.

Kindly go ahead with Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy ( removal of gall bladder). It's safe surgery
