Gall bladder stone removal surgery

My mother (age 54) has been diagnosed with 12 mm sized gall bladder stone, during her routine check-up, however she has no pain in her abdomen. Doctor has advised for a surgery. In the year 2007 my mother had undergone mitral valve replacement surgery, is it safe for her to undergo a surgery considering she takes heart related medicines like acitrom, ecosprin ? Is there any way to cure it without surgery.

Wet don't recommend removal of gall stone if  it is asyptomatic. how ever if a patient is DIABETIC then should undergo.
