Hb. 8 is not a contraindication for a gall stone surgery.
However anaemia needs to be corrected. And underlying cause to be found regarding the cause of anaemia whether it is iron deficiency, vit B 12 deficiency or other causes
Surgery however must not be delayed much as gall stone disease needs to be operated upon.
If left untreated there may be severe pain abdomen( acute cholecystitis, GB perforation etc) which are all emergencies
