Gall bladder operation related

My father is a diabetic patient and had gall bladder operation on 21st January and was discharged from hospital on 23rd January. He is getting fever from 24th morning. Pyragesic he is taking daily as prescribed by doctor but temperature is still there. Is it normal after surgery?

Generally it is normal, but sometimes it is due to infection.
