G6PD levels are done to see deficiency i.e. if the levels are less than the reference, it's worrisome and needs re-evaluation. Firstly in your case the levels are above the reference range so normal. Secondly was there jaundice in your child because G6PD deficiency is one of the causes for the same and the reason it might have been done. And yes reference lavels can vary from lab to lab as controls result vary

The G6PD deficiency is a rarity in our Country. I don't know why this test was done for your child. At present you should be more worried about the problem for which the G6PD test was done for your child rather than the absolute level of G6PD.  The Internet Reference value is Universal. It may be different in our Country. So please have your priorities right. No cure for G6PD deficiency. You have to live with it.

G6PD level needs to to be compared in newborn screening against age matched levels for the test done by the laboratory. Each laboratory will have its own method and hence their own cut off. Male baby have a lower cut off as against female. What I see as commonly available values, the lab cut off provided is comparable. So it’s good to accept as normal
