Frenulum cut

I got a cut on my frenulum (no bleeding though). It has happened in past as well but got cured on it's own. But this time, it is not. I read online and stopped having sex, but it didn't help. After 21 days of no activity, when I tried again to penetrate, the cut resurfaced. Please help.
