Fracture in Tibia Bone

2018-10-27 07:46:03
I had a fracture in the lateral condyle of my tibia on 25/09/2018. The fracture had to be operated and a titanium plate and screws were inserted for proper healing. Now after almost a month my stitches have already been cut and pain is reduced and also swelling is gone. But my surgeon hasn't advised me any kind of exercise yet apart from moving my fingers and feet in to & fro direction. Please suggest what else can be done and after how much time should I start walking with a support..

Non weight bearing knee bending exercises & quad.drill are usually started after suture removal.

Static quadriceps are safe exercises and can be done. Knee bending is something you should be doing at 4 weeks post surgery.
Next Steps
Share x-rays.
