Hello..Please consult with any spine surgeon for that(if required). All depends on MRI report. If bone fragment doesnt come out & pressing nerve then no issues. Its can be due to Wedge fracture(Compression fracture in osteoporotic bones)/pott's fracture(TB Spine) due to jerk esp. 1st please use Tylor brace/Lumbosacral belt. Take T.Mobizox BD , T.Ostego K2 OD, Calcirol sachet in one cup milk twice in a week. Take proper rest. Move around or sitting on chair on chair depending on pain quality & recovery. Keep moving ankle pumps/rotations...knee bending etc. simple movements in bed pain free range. Take Hot pack at home only for 15min for tense muscles on your back. If doest get relief then immediately consult with spine surgeon. Regards.

Spinal fractures do take time to heal. Also the pain associated with it takes time to subside. You can start gentle mobility exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist. It shall benefit her.
