Fourts B syrup 5 ml twice a day

2026-01-05 16:31:14
My local pediatrician suggested Fourts B syrup 5 ml twice a day for 1 month. But the syrup packet suggests not to be used below 5 years and even I feel 5 ml twice a day is a heavy dose. So I'm getting confused whether to use this syrup or not. Please suggest.

Exclusive breast feeding and vitamin D3 drops are sufficient to babies until 6months of age. Usage of syrup is not necessary. Given that baby is born term, has Adequate weight gain and no other co-morbs.
