Formula milk

My baby is 6months old... sometimes he didn't take the formula milk ...so i want to ask can i gave that milk to baby after few hours...is it safe for the baby...andhow store that milk

Hi.. This is Dr Rubal Jain (MD Pediatrics and Lactation consultant). Breastmilk, after expression, can be kept at room temperature for 3-4 hours. And if stored in the refrigerator, can be stored for 1 day. And in frozen in the freezer can be saved for 6 months. Prepared infant formula can get spoil if it is left out at room temperature. Use prepared infant formula within 2 hours of preparation and within one hour from when feeding begins.
