Hi. If your milk is sufficient and baby is gaining weight adequately nothing to worry, do not give formula.

Almost after every time of breast feeding if your baby is sleeping for 2-3 hrs on an average and passing urine around 6 times in a day and gaining there is no need for top feed as breast milk itself is sufficient. As you need to respect your family members opinion you can tell them above what ever we have said. Breast fed are best fed. No need to give artificial feed.
