I had sudden eye discomfort as if eyelash had fallen on the eye. I washed my eye, added a drop of Refresh tears and again washed my eye. Finally a sticky tread like thing came out. Is this a foreign particle or something that was developed in eye itself?

This looks like foreign particle thread like thing which might have entered in your eye.. kindly use refresh tears 4times/ day for 5 days. It should be fine as the foreign particle has come out. In case you develop redness, discharge, foreign body sensation you will need antibiotic cover as well.kindly review back in case you develop these symptoms.
