White discharge is common in women. The discharge is watery and slippery during early part of the cycle that is before ovulation and it tends to change its nature after ovulation that is, it becomes thread like and breaks easily. If the white discharge is curd like and associated with itching or if it’s fowl smelling , then it’s infectious for which you have to get treated.
