Fluid accumulation in lungs & orthopnea

Currently there is chest to throat pain . Fluid is accumulated in lungs and fever around 101 . Orthopnea is also observed. 10 days before Typhoid was detected and medication of the same was going on. Dengue test turn out to be negative. Please advise what possible test need to be done here.

Hi Is the fluid accumulated in both lungs or just one sided

Kindly sent the chest x ray Might require a fluid analysis by a needle aspiration to Rule out infection Cardiology opinion also for screening echo to assess heart function status

You need certain tests to be done. If possible, pl have Diagnostic aspiration of plueral fluid. Pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment.
