Better to consult a Gastroenterologist in your area for a physical examination and further management. An abnormality in the Fibroscan report is a serious matter and it should be considered seriously.

The FibroScan measures liver stiffness, and an increase from 4.7 to 10 kPa could indicate a progression in liver stiffness, which might be due to factors like alcohol consumption or other liver-affecting conditions. However, such a significant change in a short period is unusual and should be evaluated further. Regarding your burps and gas issues, have you noticed any changes in your bowel habits or any abdominal pain? This information could help in understanding your symptoms better.
