Fever with dry cough and running nose

Hi, My son is 3.5 years, weight 14 kgs. He is suffering from fever (100) going on and off for two days and today has a dry cough with heaviness in voice and a bit of running noose. Stool, urine and eating habit is fine. Given paracetamol and sinarest but improvement is limited. Please advise.

I think you should continue with what you are giving for 2-3 more days.

keep the child warm. keep him well hydrated. watch out for very high fever not responding to paracetamol, it could indicate a secondary bacterial infection.
