Can stress cause fever. My father was admitted to hospital because he had inflammation in gallbladder due to gallstones. I am staying at my aunt's place since then. I've been getting slight fever at night since the day my father got admitted. I'm constantly anxious and feel like my heart is racing. I'm waking up middle of the night and having panic attacks. I feel okay in the morning but when night falls I'm feeling very stressful anxious and feeling feverish.
