Fever issue

Hi, My father was suffered from fever 15 days ago. Before yesterday he was normal . But from yesterday he is suffering from fever (101F) with some cough and sneezing releted issue . Actually i am fearing this issue. Is it common viral fever or others like dengue or malariya??

You have not mentioned Your fathers age.Please note fever pattern and other associated symptoms ,also note whether fever is associated with chills?.Are you sure last episode of fever was 15 days back and no fever episode till now,we need to rule out biphasic pattern of illness.For now control fever with fever medicines such as paracetamol,if episodes of fever dont subside within 2 days or symptoms increase in severity we need to do detailed clinical evaluation along with some lab investigations.

Get tested for Dengue NS1 Antigen test as well as Malaria Test . Start the medication too. Keep him well hydrated.
