Fever in 6 years old

Dear doctor , my child had a fever cough an cold 20 days ago an he recovered after 7 days ...now today morning again he got fever , no cough , arround 3.30 i gave this syrup 7.5ml (attached below , )now it's 7.30 an again he got fever 101, when to give this syrup now ?,doctor said to give every 8 hrs , ,since i gave this syrup at 3.30 ..next dose is 11.30..! no idea why he is getting fever this is the 2nd fever this month .. school going boy he is ..Thank you
