Fever in 5 year old
Sir my child is 5 year old firstly he got fever in first week of March then we give antibiotic and para etomol and fever subside then he again got fever in April first week again healed by giving the same medicine and today also he is having little fever which is controlled by para etomol and antibiotic but why he is getting this fever reapledly 4 times in last 2 months
Most of the fever lasting for 3-4 days is generally due to viral infection..pls do not strt antibiotics unless prescribed by your doctor...anyfever lasting for more than 5 days generally requires investigation and antibiotics..so if it's a recorded temperature on thermometer even if it's monthly dnt wrry unless ur baby does not
play or is sick in between fever episodes or if it exceeds 5 days.
