Fever from yesterday
My son is 10 months old. He have little fever from last evening.But at midnight his temprature is 101F. After giving him paracetamol today 7 a.m again temp.is 101F After giving him 6ml paracetamol 120mg. Now his temprature is only in head to neck but body is cold. No coughing and sneezing. His potty is also normal but low in quantity with white mucus and don't want to eat much. It is time for his teeting. is it the cause? Please suggest what can I do?

Although there is no cold or cough it could be viral fever...any viral fever takes atleast 2-3 days some times up to 5 days to resolve...so nothing to be worried..if the potty is loose and going more than three times day he may need zinc syrup and probiotics...watch for other symptoms like vomitings and crying while passing urine..

continue paracetamol every 6th hourly

kindly consult nearby pediatrician if fever continues for >3days or child develops any other danger signs like temperature> 102, fastbreathing, any rash,drowsiness...etc
