We haven paracetamol syrup 1-1-1 and gudcef 100mg (half) tab 1-0-1. Still fever is high. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Gudcef 100 mg half tablet BD is not appropriate for 5 years old child, take as 1-0-1/2

if fever continues more than 5 days you have to do some urine/ blood tests to identify the eaxct cause of fever

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely. Give syp ondem for vomiting half hour before meals and paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required. If very dull and not eating at all,consult your paediatrician asap.
