Fever during menstruation

I am married and trying to conceive for last 6 months without success. I get periods on time but it is accompanied with high fever and severe back pain. I fear this is causing some problems and I am not able to get pregnant. Please suggest what would be the reason for this high fever and severe back, and does it affect my fertility to get pregnant
