She is having fever since Friday and the temp increases and drops at times from 98 to 101. When consulted doctor she had 98 so he advised to give paracetamol only if temp increases to 100 but that is not solving problem as she is not getting recovered and now she is feeling tired, dowsiness and complaining abt leg pain. Kindly advice

Hi, I understand that your baby had fever for 3 days as of now. On day one your doctor might have not found any obvious focus of infection , that's why must have ordered for only paracetamol. And that is right way of treatment. Well it is the time to revisit your doctor for review. Make sure you are carrieying babies temperature record with you.

Please give Syrup Ibugesic Plus 5ml every 4th hourly for 2 days for control of the fever consult a pediatric doctor after this course if the fever still continues
