My brother has been having fever since 2 days, and has bad cough. We have given him nicip cold and flu but it has no effect on fever. He is able to eat food and sleep without coughing as well. But no change in fever. It has been consist at 100.4 - 100.6. Please suggest. Thank you

Fever with bad cough suggests a respiratory tract infection. Does he experience chills or so? Could u please mention his age?
