How long to try to conceive before a fertility consultation? We are a couple in our 20s (I'm 26 and my husband is 28) and have no intercourse problems for an average frequency of intercourse once a day. We tried for two cycles in the fertility window between 8-20 days after period (average 30 day cycle) and did not conceive. I am taking folate and iron supplements from two months before trying. When should we be concerned?
