Hello. Given the history of a recent flood-like situation in your area, your symptoms strongly suggest a waterborne gastrointestinal infection or post-infectious indigestion, such as Giardiasis or bacterial gastroenteritis.
Medical Assessment:
Sticky & Foul-Smelling Stools: This often occurs due to incomplete digestion of fats or microscopic protozoal infections (like Giardia) acquired from flood-contaminated water or food.
Treatment -
Probiotics & Digestive Enzymes: Cap. Vizylac / Enterogermina once or twice daily to restore normal gut flora.
Anti-Secretory / Antacid: Tab. Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast to relieve nausea, fullness, and gastric discomfort.
Targeted Antimicrobial (if confirmed): If sticky stools and bloating persist, a short prescription course of Metronidazole or Nitazoxanide (often required for waterborne infections like Giardiasis) may be initiated
Next Steps
Stool Routine & Microscopy Test: It is highly recommended to get a Stool Examination (Routine & Microscopic) to check for parasitic cysts (Giardia), pus cells, or occult blood, especially given the post-flood context.

Health Tips
Hydration with ORS: Drink Oral Rehydration Solutions (ORS) or clear fluids like tender coconut water to stay hydrated and maintain electrolyte balance.
Strict Water Hygiene: Continue drinking boiled and cooled water. Ensure all cooking utensils and hands are washed thoroughly with purified water.
Bland, Easy-to-Digest Diet: Stick to a light diet like rice gruel (kanji), curd rice, bananas, stewed apples, and toast (BRAT diet). Avoid oily, spicy, heavy dairy, and
sugar-laden foods for a few days.
