It is most likely that you took the strain as you did 6 months ago, since you've not been to the gym in so long the body cannot take the strain as it could 6 months back, so start slowly and increase according to how much you can tolerate and don't over exert. Drink plenty of fluids, aim at drinking atleast 3 liters of water per day
