Hello Doctor, just got my sugar level checked and it is fasting 193 and PP 190. why both levels are same? i did took my metformin 500mg tablet with breakfast and test was done after two hours .

High fasting is because of insulin resistance while high PP is because of secretary defect the presentation and treatment varies with contribution of these defects in causing diabetes.  You should consult a diabetologist and get the treatment modified.
