Failed Root Canal Therapy Complications.
My father had undergone a RCT procedure, in which a small cap was replaced by a bigger Cap at a later stage due to Pain in teeth.After replacement the pain still persists, so can it be cancerous in the long run ?
After rct pain may be due to some infection or occlusion problem.If opposite teeth is toching so much.Take one week proper antibiotic with antiinflammatory and check occlusion if needed then grind occlusion surface as needed .If still persist then consult endodontist.

If the pain is still persisting in the tooth that indicates there might be some underlying infection that needs to be rectified. You can upload the x-ray so that it is clear and a better diagnosis can be made.
As far as the long-term prognosis is concerned it is not at all related to cancer as such. The worst that can happen is that if infection is too much we might have to remove the tooth. So do not worry it’s not at all cancerous but yes it needs a treatment definitely
