Doctor i have recently recovered from covid and experienced headaches post recovery.I checked my eyes and I am now wearing spectables now so headache is better. But two days ago i felt like facial pain on my cheeks, like someone with pointed nails pinching lightly on my facial skin.I am still experiencing this irritation now too. Could it be sinus problem or the black fungus?

If u r not immunocompromised and not been put on heavy doses of steroids without blood sugar monitoring there are less chances of being a black fungus .. however that being said it is alwaz good to be cautious ... So if u have any symptoms like facial pain, headache , nasal block and crusting, blurring of vision, facial numbness , pain in teeth or upper jaw plz consult an ent specialist
Next Steps
ent doctor consult

Greetings. From your history, with recovery from covid - such irritation may occur. This likely involves the sinuses. However, more detailed history like 1. History of elevated blood sugars 2. Whether steroids were used as part of the treatment 3. Oxygen support during treatment 4. Any teeth problem, etc. Would help. Further sinus evaluation may be needed to identify the problem.
Next Steps
consult online/directly with a nearby ENT specialist with detailed history for proper evaluation and management.
Health Tips
eat healthy food. avoid chilled food items. avoid wet/damp places.
