We have discussed the condition in detail. At present, it appears to be a benign condition and can be managed conservatively. Maintain good hygiene and ensure that hands are clean. Please take a few clear photographs of the affected area and share them with us so that we can assess it better. Alternatively, you may schedule a teleconsultation for a more detailed evaluation and further discussion. We have discussed the available treatment options and the medications will depend on the condition and weight of the child

Greetings Persistent itchiness and frequent eye rubbing at this age typically point to conditions like allergic conjunctivitis. To provide immediate comfort at home, apply a clean, cool, damp washcloth over her closed eyes several times a day.Gently discourage her from rubbing her eyes, as excessive friction can lead to corneal irritation or secondary infections.Regularly wash her hands and face to clear away potential environmental triggers such as dust, pollen, or pet dander. Kindly consult

Persistent itchy eyes in children are commonly due to allergy. Avoid rubbing the eyes, wash the face and eyes with clean water, and try to identify triggers such as dust, pollen, pets, or smoke. If symptoms have been present for 3 weeks, an examination by a pediatrician or eye specialist is advisable. Seek urgent care if there is eye pain, marked redness, discharge, swelling, or any change in vision
Next Steps
Can use antiallergic eyedrops after proper evaluation
