Hello dear...plz read my answer with full care...ur child is having congenital cataract...this is now emergency condition....if only one eye is having cataract..we have to operate as early as possible...best within 6 weeks of age...if delayed...eye becomes lazy...meaning eye will not work with even glasses...now my advise is...get her operated as early as possible(consider it an emergency) and then doctor will prescribe contact lens if single eye is involved and glasses if both eyes involved...doctor will also prescribe patching therapy means we will close better eye of child for atleat 6 hrs/day..and u have to b under doctor supervision for next 20 yrs atleast....now consult pediatric ophthalmologist ...means there are superspecilist eye surgeons who operate little children...dont take my advise lightly...react prompty as u r already late
