Eye power in 5 year old kid

There is increasing eye power sph +4.5 and cyl -3.5 for my 5 year old son. Is there any procedure to bring this number down. Can 6/12 vision improved further. Any recommendations pls.

Continuous use of glasses is important. Power normally increases as per the growth of the child.pl do eye exercises. Frequent eye check up are necessary.
