There are injections that do not cross the blood retina and blood brain barrier and stay within the eyes. Anti VEGF injections do not contain steroids. Please have a discussion with your doctor and choose the right molecule.

Firstly, what condition is she diagnosed that she has been adviced injection in the eye, should be mentioned. All injections in the eye after checking vitals, like blood pressure and sugar, only if it's in the normal range, injection is given on that date, else postponed.. Injection ranibizumab which is prescribed in not a steroid. It's a monoclonal antibody. Haven't encountered any case of heart attack after such injections. Three injections at a gap on one month is usually needed..else depends upon the progress of the disease..
Next Steps
kindly, monitor the blood pressure and take the injection
Health Tips
monitor bp

It is not steroid.pl consult  vitreoretinal surgeon for further evaluation and treatment. Injections are given after verifying all the basic parameters.

Inj ranibizumab is anti vegf, not steroid. And it'll be given inside the eye, not systemically. You can discuss it in detail with your retina specialist
