Today has gone routine check up by indirect opthalmoscopy...I am a high myopia...asked about the check...he has said due to high myopia there is scars ...but he has said no emergency just asked to come regular yearly check up...is t serious ?what should I do

High myopes have a tendency to develop weak spots in the retina. That's what has been mentioned to you as scars. As long as your vision is not affected you need not worry about it.
