Extreme itching on left breast

I am getting sudden bouts of extreme itching on my left breast since the past couple of days. Since it was uncontrollable, I scratched on the itches which has led to some skin breakout on the breast because of my nails. I don't have any lumps on the breast or any discharge from the nipple but I do have a family history of breast cancer. Please let me know if this is a sign of that or else treatment for my condition. Can I put atarax lotion to soothe the itching on the breast.

The symptoms which you r telling is not related to breast cancer symptoms But as you have family history do self examination of breast and mammogram and screening annually Better do consult dermatologist for present condition
