ESCITALOPRAM side effects

Recently started on 5mg Escitalopram, i have read some research papers saying it causes QTc prolongation. Should i change my drug to Sertraline or other Ssri, i have no underlying heart problems but sometimes HR goes to 60 normally.

Consult Now
Get an ECG done and check with physician if there is QTC prolongation. This side effect occurs only very rarely. Only if it does and affects the person then alternative is decided. Good luck.
