Hi, I am 42 years old and facing issues with maintaining erections and sex timings.
I am also addicted to masturbation, is this the cause ?

Having difficulty in sustaining erection can be because of multiple causes.
Some medical or psychological.
Considering your age, diabetes needs to be ruled out. History of smoking and alcohol needs to be looked at too.
And no masterbation doesn't directly cause it.
You should consult for the same.

Hi, u will need a thorough evaluation including physical examination and blood tests. If one is addicted to masturbation, he usually doesn’t derive pleasure in sex, and he tends to masturbate after the sexual intercourse to achieve that orgasm. It’s high time u get rid of your addiction, u will start enjoying sex even more.
Failure to maintain erection may be coz of this but other causes needs to be ruled out. Consult your urologist
