Episotomy stitches not healing day 22
Stitches are still intact and paining day 22. Yellow color threads. Doctor told that vicryl threads will dissolve but still it's intact. What should I do?
Hello, not to worry sometimes there maybe delay in absorption of stitches, just wait for 1 month and observe, if no pain and no discharge from stitch then not to worry... Have healthy diet and lemon juice daily for early healing...

Sometimes vicryl will take time for dissolution . If it is doesn’t dissolve it has to be removed on day 21
