Hello, i just wanted to know:
1) do vissane tablet cause weight gain?, i m on treatment for 6 months
2) do vissane tablet increase appetite?, i always feel hungry..
3) for how long can vissane tablet be taken?

Visssane tablet contains dienogest which is a progesterone..
Its a new generation progesterone where weight gain is not significant..
It also does not affect appetite..
Visanne can be taken for nearly 18 months but we generally give it for 4 months at a stretch followed by a withdrawal bleeding & again continue the medication .
